Mixed Bag for hurlers

Unfortunately our intermediate hurlers lost out to St. James in Bellefield on Sunday afternoon. The lads were down 5 at the Break and had chances to make the score closer. The men from Ramsgrane pushed that out to 6 and with 10 left a Dean Wright goal from a free brought us back to 4 but that’s as close s as we got with the men from Ramsgrange winning out 1-19 to 1-12.

There was joy later on though for our Junior b hurlers with a 21 point victory against Duffry Rovers under the lights in Ferns in the junior b quarter final. The lads play the semi final next Friday night against Fethard at 7:30pm in Ferns Centre of Excellence.
