championship changes

2024 Wexford Hurling Championship will have a different format for this season with games going back to alternative blocks (2 blocks hurling, 2 blocks football). Also every game now matters. The top 2 in each group of 6 will go through to the quarter finals. In the preliminary quarter final, 3rd plays 4th with the winner going through to quarters and loser finishing for the year. 5th plays 6th, winner into quarters, loser into relegation final. 

The football championship structure remains the same as last season. Top 4 qualify into quarters.
 

Leagues will continue on the same basis as 2023 with promotion and relegation for teams.
