New Chairman

Blackwater Adult Club elected a new chairman at last nights AGM with club legend Lar Lacey taking over the role from outgoing Owen Murphy who has been in the role for a number of years. Lar having extensive experience involved with recent development committees and also managing teams. The rest of the roles were also filled  The club was reported to be in a healthy position by Keith Barrett while underage chairman Anthony Roche stated that a new GPOg Adam Howlin will start in January. Shane Curran was put forward as the new hurling manager for our intermediate team for the year at an earlier meeting with the junior b and football management roles to be filled at a later date.
