Just a minimum point loss for Junior B team.
Crossabeg 0-15 v 0-14 Blackwater
The Junior B team lost by just one point in there championship game in Ballymurn on Friday night last. With the lads already through the knockout stages, the management team rested the U21 hurlers as they are out in action in the district final on Tuesday night which meant a much changed team from there last outing, With the breeze with the lads in the first half, the lads were at one stage losing by 7 points to 4, but managed to score the next 5 points in a row in the last 10 minutes to lead by 2 at the turn.
They started the second half as they finished the first with Shane Wright gtetting away a goal shot shot only for it be saved. The lads kept Ballymurn at a distance leading by 4 with 10 gone but the home side started to real us in with the game level with just 10 left. They took the lead with 4 left and but Topar got the equaliser from a pressured free from distance. Unfortunately Ballymurn hit two late frees (a common theme throughout the match with 9 of Ballymurns scores coming from frees) before a late Paul Murphy score left just one in it at the final whistle. The final game of the group stage is next week against St. Martins in Blackwater at 7:30pm.
