The Coiste na nOg reported that the underage section of the club is in a healthy state going forward into 2019 with a total of 16 people attending. First Joe Cullen addressed the members, the chairman thanked a number of helpers, the coaches, the adult club and of course Noleen and Michelle. He stated that he had overall two proud days this year, the minors reaching the U17 county semi final and the grand opening of the indoor arena. The secretary Michelle Curran also thanked everyone for their help while Noleen Murphy reported that the finances are in a healthy state going forward with a number of good fundraisers during the year which were well supported. Each of the underage managers summarised their year with some bright points. The U9s had a very successful year winning all their tournaments bar 1 while there is a large group of about 24 to 25 boys all playing which is brilliant to see. Also Pad O’Connor gave a very successful review of the minors who had a brilliant year, just falling short while they still have the George O’Connor Hurling final to look forward to. Finally the nominations with most of the top table staying on for a further year.
